This website is my personal blog of my reflections on anything thing else that I find interesting. I started blogging a couple of years ago with the SmartLemming.com. After a major redesign, my blog morphed into an aggregator, so I no longer post random thoughts on the SmartLemming.com.
But I still want to help other knowledge workers (KWs) by recommending business books for various personal or business challenges and providing a KW’s perspective on career management, management, and leadership. With so many business books to choose from, it’s hard to find the right book. In a competitive environment, it’s also hard to get this information out of competitive peers. So I’ll blog here about business books, or anything career management, management, or leadership related.
I’ve had two separate careers so far, one in the Alaska Native healthcare delivery system and the other in the healthcare technology industry. With President Obama’s commitment to healthcare reform, I found myself taking an interest from the business and political science perspective, so I just started my new website, HealthcareMusings.com.
The average person doesn’t realize the complexities of the healthcare delivery system, the political process, and the business of healthcare. Because healthcare is so complex, I want to provide commentary on healthcare reform that isn’t intimidating for the average person.
When I have thoughts about healthcare that aren’t appropriate for HealthcareMusings.com, I’ll post them here.
