I finally have an iPhone. I bought the new Kindle 2. Now I want a product that doesn’t exist yet…an Apple Tablet PC. Why? Because I love almost everything about my iPhone, but want a larger version of it like the size of Kindle or bigger. After using my iPhone, I realized my Kindle wasn’t the “perfect thing.” In fact, it’s not even close since it lacks functionality that I need like emailing notes or pages. Don’t get me wrong. I love my Kindle, but it could use more improvements.
What functionality do I need in a tablet PC? I need access to the internet with the touch screen functionality and ease of use, so I can view it in a portrait setting like my Kindle. I read so much content in Google Reader and Bloglines, but don’t want the hassle of a netbook or laptop. I need the product as seen in Gizmodo’s “Apple Touchscreen Tablet Contest Winner and Gallery” mockup.

Can you imagine when this product is eventually released by Apple? An Apple tablet PC would directly compete with Motion Computing’s LE1700 Tablet PC like the one used by Bill Gates. If Apple releases anything similar to the product in the mockup above, that would be my next perfect thing after my iPod.
