Lori’s an EVP for Twolia that recently launched EntertainHer.com. It’s a social marketplace and entertainment destination for artists and fans, EntertainHer was launched in July 2010 to provide a platform for women to promote and sell their work to people who are looking for films, music, and web videos beyond the top 10 lists.
EntertainHer also highlights standout women filmmakers and musicians, and provides information and commentary about the entertainment industry via blog posts and news feeds.
Lori has experience in managing entrepreneurial Internet businesses, since she co-founded Erosion Media with Sarah Warn. They sold their entertainment properties to MTV Networks in May 2006. At the end of November 2006, Lori chose to leave Verus to go back to her company, Erosion Media.
She’s a former VP of Marketing & Sales Operations, who was responsible for marketing and communications, product marketing, channel management and sales operations. Lori’s specialties include: building new startups, departments, and programs; executing aggressive plans to goals; and creating repeatable processes. She has more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
She’s held positions in healthcare technology companies, focusing on revenue cycle management, cardiovascular information systems and benchmarking and outcomes management solutions. She also provided market planning, product marketing, and product management expertise for Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, HBS International, Inc., LUMEDX Corporation, CodeCorrect, Inc., and Verus.
Lori prides herself in being a constant learner. She hasn’t met a business book she didn’t like. When she’s not reading a business book, she enjoys sharing her career management experience and lessons learned with others.
