I still find it hard to accept that the image of being &quot;grown up&quot; that I had as a kid is never going to happen. 

I might have all the degrees, the assistant professorship, the nice apartment etc. but does that make me a grown up?

I notice it more in the way that I no longer care for three day music festivals, staying up all night or what people think of me.

I sometimes miss my teens and twenties, but I am so content with myself and life right now...is that what growing up feels like? In that case, I guess I am.</description>
