I still find it hard to accept that the image of being "grown up" that I had as a kid is never going to happen. I might have all the degrees, the assistant professorship, the nice apartment etc. but does that make me a grown up? I notice it more in the way that I no longer care for three day music festivals, staying up all night or what people think of me.
